TA18 (Ti-2Al-2.5Sn-3.7Zr-0.5Mo-0.3Si) is a low-aluminum equivalent, near-α-type titanium alloy. Strengthened with aluminum, molybdenum, and silicon, it boasts a density of 4.47 g/cm³ and a phase transition point of 925°C. Its compositional design balances strength and workability, increasing tensile strength by 20%-50% compared to pure titanium while maintaining the weldability advantages of α-type alloys.
